Kaiserkrone Chalet & Spa is an elegant and welcoming alpine retreat in the center of Dimaro, where the charm of tradition meets the warm atmosphere of wood and modern comfort designed for wellness.
Our house has a history rooted in Val di Sole and today it is completely renovated, maintaining the authentic soul of traditional mountain chalets.
Each environment is designed to offer tranquility, harmony, and a sense of intimacy that accompanies you throughout your stay: bright rooms, artisanal details, and spaces dedicated to relaxation.

OUR ORIGINS
A Residence at the Center of the Valley's Routes
In front of the current town hall stood the Casa del Dazio, a mandatory passage for trade routes connecting the valleys to Val Rendena and as far as Brescia.
Next to the fortified house, already active between the 14th and 15th centuries, is the residence that bears the date 1609 on the entrance arch.
Originally belonging to noble families, it became over time a hotel and guesthouse, a refuge for travelers, merchants, mountaineers, and wanderers heading towards the Moschera and Zeledria passes (now Passo Carlo Magno) and Madonna di Campiglio.
For generations, loggers, farmers, and common people found refreshment here, a glass of wine, a card game, and moments of conviviality typical of alpine life.

A Distinguished Guest
The Stay of Kaiser Franz Joseph and Sissi
On July 14, 1894, this residence welcomed His Imperial and Royal Majesty Franz Joseph of Austria, accompanied by his consort Elisabeth, the famous Sissi. An extraordinary event for a small town in the Danubian Empire that left a deep memory in the community.
The structure has undergone transformations over time, making it difficult to determine the exact room used by the distinguished guests. But their presence enriched the collective imagination, inspiring even the name by which the building was identified for decades: Imperial Crown Hotel.
This connection with the Kaiser also gave rise to the current name: Kaiserkrone, an elegant tribute to its historical legacy.
